The former World Player of the Year hopes his song will add to the many voices calling for a worldwide effort to curb further infections and deaths.
The World Health Organisation has reportedly recorded approximately 2000 cases of infection in West Africa.
"Let us all arise and come together to fight Ebola; Ebola is real," reads a snippet of the lyrics.
Weah, who has turned to music and politics in his native country of Liberia since hanging up his boots, recorded the song together with Ghanaian musician Sidney. Proceeds from sales of the song will go into the coffers of the Liberian Health Ministry.
