The Comedy Central Roast of Kenny Kunene will air for one day only on Comedy Central (DStv Channel 122) on DStv Compact on Monday the 28th of April at 9pm alongside Comedy Central’s usual DStv Premium and DStv Extra audiences.
Evert van der Veer, Head of Comedy Central, Africa commented, “In opening the Roast to DStv Compact our goal is to unite the country in humour and encourage voting on the 7 May as we Roast Kenny Kunene from the newly-formed Patriotic Alliance”.
The Comedy Central Roast of Kenny Kunene was recorded in front of a live audience last night at The Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City hosted by the “Roastmaster” Jimmy Carr and featuring “Roasters” Somizi Mhlongo, Khanyi Mbau, Dineo Ranaka, Rian van Heerden, Jack Parow, John Vlismas, Tumi Morake and PJ Powers.
