Having scored the final goal in Portugal's 6-1 thrashing of Switzerland on Tuesday, it's time to look at the incredibly interesting music career of forward Rafael Leao. Here's a look.
The story
The AC Milan star, who goes by the stage name WAY 45, already has a catalog of more than 12 songs and about a hand full of those tracks already have music videos on his YouTube.
In 2021 during his breakout season, he released a 7-track EP called Beginning, and at the time of writing, the Portugal star had a respectable 26 539 monthly listeners on Spotify.

It is probably fair to assume that the 23-year-old doesn't frequently do gigs but is instead just released music, as it would be hard to imagine where he finds the time to perform at shows in between training and matches for the Rossoneri.

Football-wise, the Italy-based star has been wonderful for Milan, having helped the side to their first Serie A title since the 2010/11 season. His 26 goal involvements in the last campaign also saw him finish in joint 14th place in the 2022 Ballon d'Or rankings alongside Liverpool and Brazil midfielder Fabinho.
This season, he has already registered 16 goals and assists in 20 matches for his club across all competitions. Meanwhile, he's also been a bright spark for Portugal, having scored twice in Qatar in four outings.
