Lamontville Golden Arrows has confirmed the departure of striker Pule Mmodi, amid reports of the attacker making a move to Kaizer Chiefs.
KickOff reported that Mmodi has already joined up with teammates at Kaizer Chiefs Village ahead of a move to the Soweto Giants
The 29-year-old, who was initially a target for rival Orlando Pirates, reportedly turned down a move to the Buccaneers, option form the Black and Gold.

In a statement released by Arrows on Friday, the Durban-based club confirmed that Mmodi has lest team.
"We bid Pule Mmodi farewell and thank him for his services to the Club. Joining us in the 2020/21 season, he was instrumental in 92 League cup games up to the end of last season.
"He scored 16 goals assisted in many more. We wish him good luck in his future endeavors."

Mmodi is understood to be one of several new faces that have reported for duty at Kaizer Chiefs Village this week as preparations for the new season begins.
The club's new signings include Mduduzi Mdantsane from Cape Town City, Given Msimango rom TS Galaxy and Ranga Chivaviro from Marumo Gallants.
Meanwhile, Mmodi's former agent, Solomon Seobe, who represented Mmodi says he was shocked to get a get a call from Mmodi letting him know that he would be joining Amakhosi.

The move is a major U-turn by Amakhosi who turned down the opportunity to sign Mmodi in January when his availability was made known to the Soweto giants, as per Soccer Laduma.
"My contract with Mmodi ended this month and before we renewed, he told me he was at Naturena and negotiating and signing with Chiefs " Seobe said on Radio 2000.
"I was hopeful I would have been involved in this decision (because) there are things in the contract you must look at closely.
"But there's no bad blood. I just need to see when he signed with Chiefs whether it was during my period with him or after our contract because it expired recently.
"I have to say I had other offers for him (Mmodi) and I wanted to sit down and discuss these. I can tell you that we didn't get an offer from Chiefs. Even in January when we told Chiefs he's available, they said they're not interested. So, this [move] has come as a surprise," added Seobe.
Amakhosi announced on Wednesday night that Molefi Ntseki – who was the club's head of Technical and Youth Development, would be taking over from Arthur Zwane as head coach, with Zwane and Dillon Shepperd to serve as Ntseki's assistant.
