"It's one and the same story almost everyday, each and every game we get chances but w can't convert into goals. But we are working our finishing to try and get goals," Vilakazi told SuperSport TV.
"We try at training, it happens sometimes but in a game it's very difficult for us but we can't give up, we have to soldier on, some other things cannot be rectified overnight.
"We still have to work on them and make sure we don't lose games, especially when we're playing at home."
Vilakazi went on to say that after a terrible start to the season, they can't afford to go back to that form of losing back-to-back matches.
"That's the difficult part, we were thinking we had it now because we started the season very badly but we can't afford to go back to that," he added.
"And looking at the log now, there's a very thin line between the teams at the bottom and at the top. You win one game you find yourself in the top eight, you lose one you find yourself the bottom.
"So we can't afford to lose games easily but it's fine, it's water under the bridge, we'll focus more on our next game."
