Another full house in store for Chiefs...

Kaizer Chiefs' first trip of the season up north to Polokwane has given the Limpopo province the challenge of doing what Amakhosi's pulling power has done so far this season – filling up stadiums.

Chiefs play SuperSport United in the first round of the Carling Knockout at the new Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday (20:00).

Beyond what will happen on the pitch, it will be of interest how the Soweto giants' fan power in the Limpopo steps up after what has happened so far this season.

Nasreddine Nabi has already seen his team play before capacity crowds at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein against Marumo Gallants and Moses Mabhida in Durban against AmaZulu FC.

Impressive were the number in the stands at FNB Stadium against Mamelodi Sundowns for their first home game of the season when the giant venue was filled to the brim.

Saturday's cup match has general admission tickets pegged at R50 and available from Ticketpro outlets with gates at the stadium due to open at 17:00.

There must be a winner between Matsatsantsa and the Glamour Boys either during 90 or 120 minutes of open play or on penalties.

No information has been made available to date on the progress of ticket sales, but it will be no surprise to have another 'sold out' sign before kick-off.

Peter Mokaba Stadium sits up to 46 000, which is a similar capacity to the Toyota Stadium, which was sold out when Chiefs were in Bloemfontein for their Betway Premiership opener.

Amakhosi last played at the Polokwane venue back in May when they drew 2-2 against TS Galaxy while Cavin Johnson was still the interim head coach.

So, can the Limpopo province please stand up!
