Kaze issues update on Chiefs progress

Four months into the job, assistant coach Cedric Kaze has issued his assessment of the rebuilding project underway at Kaizer Chiefs.

The Soweto giants are just one match reaching the halfway stage of their 24/25 season.

They have collected six wins from their 14 matches, amassing 21 points and occupying a fifth spot on the Betway Premiership log table although every team above them has one or more matches in hand.

In the same period, Chiefs have scored an impressive 17 goals, with ranks among the highest in the league - only Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates have scored more.

Reflecting on the first half the season, Kaze, who serves as assistant to head coach Nasreddine Nabi has the same mission; to take Amakhosi to the top.

"It's been an intense first 4 months into this Big Project… One game left before the end of 1st round of the league," Kaze wrote on Instagram.

"5th on the table, Some beautiful and entertaining football we have shown on the field although not always consistent in our results…

"We are working very hard, (Players, Management, Technical Staff…) to ensure this Big Club goes back to where it belongs… On Top."
