Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana has honoured his contract by returning to Kaizer Chiefs despite repeated efforts to push him out of the club.
Bimenyimana closed off the 2022/23 season as the club's top goal scorer in the league with seven goals from 17 appearances but appeared to have lost the confidence of Arthur Zwane who was never keen on his signing from the beginning.

Prior to Bimenyimana eventually signing his contract after the club made a U-turn on their initial decision of not bringing him on board, Zwane did confirm that the towering striker wasn't what they were looking for.
Despite struggling his way to the end of the season and falling out of favour, the 25-year-old still had encouraging numbers of eight goals in all competitions from 21 appearances in only his first season.
While Bimenyimana's scoring numbers show that he was in the category of 'best' at Chiefs his playing style was raised as the issue.
Chiefs have made an effort to offload Bimenyimana by proposing a termination.
However, Bimenyimana's camp whose head is based in Canada where the family lives – has turned down the settlement offer.
There have been whispers suggesting that there are efforts being made to move Bimenyimana out to another DStv Premiership with Moroka Swallows having been mentioned as an option.
AmaKhosi have foreign quota considerations in their handling of the former Rayon Sports striker with the club keen to keep one space open from the five available.
All other options outside South Africa will only happen provided the Burundian gets his clearance.
His previous employer FK Pohronie of Slovakia wait in line just like the possibility of Egypt.
Chiefs have now signed Ranga Chivaviro to lead their friontline after he scored 17 goals for Marumo Gallants last season.
AmaKhosi also have Christian Saile Basomboli, Ashley du Preez, and Wandile Duba offering further options.
