Kaizer Chiefs are believed to have finalised the exit of defender Austin Dube as the centre-back seeks more regular game time.
Signed from Richards Bay in 2021, Dube made 17 appearances for Amakhosi in his first season under then head coach Stuart Baxter.
Dube was particularly utilized at stay of the campaign to the middle, but as Baxter's time drew to an end, so did Dube's it seemed, with the 30-year-old just four of Amakhosi's last ten games of the season.

KickOff understands Dube's frustrations date back as far as February when the centre back is believed to have approached the club's hierarchy in search of solutions regarding his role and future in the team.
Subsequently, Dube was handed his first and what would turn out to be his only start of the season, in a clash against Lamontville Golden Arrows in Polokwane – a match that ended in a shock 3-2 defeat for Amakhosi and head coach Arthur Zwane having escorted off the field.

Since then, the writing has been on the wall for the 30-year-old and Chiefs are reported to have finalised the centre-back's exit, with former club Richards Bay the most likely destination.
Dube is set to become the fifth departure from Amakhosi, following the exits of Eric Mathoho, Cole Alexander, Siyabonga Ngezana and Phathutsehdzo Nange.
Chiefs will not be short of cover at the back, having already signed Thatayaone Ditlhokwe from SuperSport United and Given Msimango from TS Galaxy.
