Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that centre-back Thatayaone Ditlhokwe is set to miss the Soweto giants' upcoming DStv Premiership clash against Polokwane City.
The 25-year-old missed out on Amakhosi's last outing for the first time season after sustaining a shoulder injury during Botswana's 1-0 win over Guinea in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier towards the end of November.

The left-footer could not play beyond the 63rd minute, and although the severity of the injury was not been made public, it has been confirmed that Ditlhokwe will not be ready for Chiefs' upcoming league clash against Rise And Shine on Saturday.
"Amakhosi coach, Cavin Johnson will still be without some key figures as was the case in the last match. Among the players missing will be Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, Itumeleng Khune and a few others who are still being assessed by the medical team," a statement from Chiefs' official website said.

Against Swallows, Johnson opted for centre-back pairing of Given Msimango and Edmilson Dove who helped earn Amakhosi's first clean sheet in eight matches this season.
The former Platinum Stars coach will likely stick to the winning formula but will not be short of back-up options with latest signing Luke Fleurs approaching full fitness and Njabulo Ngcobo having also come on as a late substitute against Swallows.
Chiefs' match against City will be played at New Peter Mokaba Stadium. Kick-off is at 15:30.
