Disaster in the form of injury has struck a Kaizer Chiefs star born and bred in the Western Cape, Dillan Solomons, who is set to miss out on the trip to Cape Town Spurs for the last fixture of the season.
This compounds the club's injury woes, with players like Yusuf Maart, George Matlou, Reeve Frosler and Keagan Dolly all presently out of action due to an assortment of injuries.

The treatment table has a new visitor with Solomons being the latest casualty, if the latest post on his official Instagram page is anything to go by.
Solomons took to social media platform Instagram to confirm that he has suffered an injury.
"Not the perfect ending to my season, but looking forward to coming back stronger?????God's timing is the best timing," the wingback wrote.
This was accompanied by a picture of him lying in a hospital bed.
It is not clear, though, what kind of an injury he is carrying, and there has been no update as of yet from the club regarding the player's latest setback.
The speedy player endured a bittersweet second season with Amakhosi, making 15 appearances this season, nine of which were from the substitutes' bench.
These numbers are a drop from the 26 appearances he made is his debut season for Chiefs, having been signed as part of a three-man package from Moroka Swallows that included George Matlou and Kamohelo Mahlatsi.

With both Frosler and Solomons out of action, Zitha Kwinika will stand alone as Amakhosi's only available option in the right-back position.
Cavin Johnson did, however, deploy academy graduate winger Donay Jansen as a right back against Polokwane City last weekend, to mark the 21-year-old's first senior-team appearance.
