Chiefs with a technical minus again...

Nasreddine Nabi's work in finding answers to his goalkeeping worries during the latest FIFA break is happening without the front two tasked with that responsibility.

Fiacre Ntwari is away on national team duty with Rwanda for AFCON qualifying games against Libya and Nigeria.

Ntwari has travelled having conceded 11 goals in his first seven matches for Chiefs and having to deal with fingers being pointed in his direction.

Worse for the side is that they are spending the international break without their goalkeeper coach Ilyes Mzoughi, who still holds another contract with FFRIM (Fédération de Football de la Mauritanie), serving as goalkeeper coach.

According to the FFRIM, Mzoughi is in camp with Mauritania in Tabarka, Tunisia.

After having travelled all the way to that part of Tunisia where Mauritania are holding their camp, Mzoughi will then fly south again all the way to Francistown, where Botswana will be awaiting them on Friday.

Morena Ramoreboli and his Zebras need all the points to secure qualification for the AFCON finals.

Then after Friday, Mzoughi has another long trip to Nouakchott, where Mauritania will host Cape Verde on Tuesday.

It will then be the tedious trip back to Johannesburg afterwards to link up with Chiefs as they finalise preparations for Richards Bay FC on November 27.

Aubrey Mathibe has been the substitute when Mzoughi is away.

Meanwhile, Stellenbosch FC also have their goalkeeper coach Pernell McKop travelling for international duty with Zimbabwe.

McKop – who is the most experienced goalkeeper coach in the PSL – has made good his time at Stellies, where he has contributed immensely in getting Sage Stephens Bafana Bafana recognition.

With the Warriors, he has had veteran goalkeeper Washington Arubi conceding only twice in four AFCON qualifiers with the last two games coming against Kenya in Polokwane on Friday and Cameroon in Yaounde on Tuesday.

This is McKop's fifth season at Stellies having previously worked at Santos, Free State Stars, FC AK, Maritzburg United, Bay United, Ubuntu Cape Town, and Black Leopards
