Renowned coach Farouk Khan explains why he expects interim coach Cavin Johnson to succeed at Kaizer Chiefs.
Amakhosi announced on Monday that Johnson will be taking over the helm on an interim basis from Molefi Ntseki and will be assisted by Dillon Sheppard, while Arthur Zwane returns to the club's youth structures.
The appointment is another roll of the dice by Chiefs' hierarchy in a bid to salvage a season that has already see the Soweto Giants crash out of two knockout competitions by the end of October.

In the league, Amakhosi have not fared much better, collecting just three wins from their opening nine matches.
Khan, who served as assistant to Ted Dumitru and head Amakhosi's youth development, believes Johnson could save Chiefs' season if he is supported by the club's hierarchy.
"There seems to be that perception that he is more of a youth coach but I think people forget that he's been really successful as a head coach as well," Khan told KickOff.
"He finished second in the league with an under-resourced Platinum Stars. He finished in the top four for one or two seasons I think. So, he has the pedigree to do that.
"At Chiefs, I think he will do well if he's given the resources he needs. If he's given a really strong technical team
"Football has changed so much, that you can no longer have the head coaches doing everything. You need a group of really good specialists around the coach these days.
