In this edition of Supporters Forum, it is the turn of Mpho Gift Mothiba to speak about his long-standing affair with his favourite club, Sekhukhune United.
Mpho, who hails from Mahwelereng in Lebowakgomo, explains why he ditched a giant like Kaizer Chiefs for a smaller club.
Club supported?
"Growing up, I was a Kaizer Chiefs supporter due to the pressure from my father. I never liked Chiefs, I was forced to be their fan.

"But what happened is, when I came here in Tembisa, I decided to support Highlands Park because of their former striker, Richard Matloga."
How long supported?
"It's been four years now. We started with the team in September 2020."
Are you happy with the bosses?
"They are treating us well here, even with the traveling arrangements. We lack nothing. They are treating us the same way Highlands Park used to. My only wish is to see them not [get] relegated."
Are you happy with the coach?
"As supporters, we'll never know what happened between the coach [Lehlohonolo Seema] and club, we must trust the decisions taken by the club. Coaches and players will always come and go, and leave us here."
Are you happy with the players?
"I am happy, and now that it's the month of June already, some of the players' contracts will end, and only then we will see who they are signing for us.
"I trust our current squad though, they are very good players, hence they finished in fourth position."
Who do you want them to sign?
"I hear they've signed Andy Boyeli, who is said to have scored 18 goals where he was playing.
"I am happy with that because we've been missing a striker. We need a proven goalscorer.

"I wish they could add a goalkeeper."
Your message to the team?
"I wish everyone can come back in one piece. We have CAF games to play, and I would like to see them finish second on the log table, or even win the league title. I'll be happy if we can win the MTN8."
