Speaking to SuperSportTV for the first time since his return to the squad, Khune revealed that he is eyeing the number one spot in the goalkeeping department and gave teammate Bruce Bvuma credit for the side's recent defensive form.
"The next chapter is to work hard, get back in the team, stay fit and challenge for the number one spot again," Khune said.
"But I have to give credit to the goalkeeping department, more especially to Bruce Bvuma, who has been doing tremendously well for the club. He kept seven clean sheets in eight matches.
"So, I wish him everything of the best and he must just keep doing what he has been doing, which will help the club get back to greater heights."
