Kaizer Chiefs legend and former Bafana captain Lucas Radebe has responded to the appointment of Molefi Ntseki as the Chiefs new head coach.
Amakhosi announced on Wednesday night that Ntseki – who was the club's head of Technician and Youth Development, would be taking over from Arthur Zwane as head coach, with Arthur Zwane and Dillon Shepperd taking a step back to serve as Ntseki's assistants.

Radebe, who won two league titles with Amakhosi among other trophies, is not convinced that Ntseki's credentials are up to the standard.
"For me, I thought we would get somebody better," Radebe said.
"Not that Ntseki is not good enough but I don't think he has proven enough to be a quality coach for a big club like Kaizer Chiefs. It is a mismatch for me.
"I might be wrong! he might take Chiefs to greater heights. We will have to wait and see."
Radebe was responding to a question asked about Ntseki's appointment at the English Premier League 30 Africa XI Media event in held Randburg on Thursday.
The former Bafana captain is not alone in his assessment. Sections of Amakhosi supporters across social media are up in arms over the appointment of Ntseki, who becomes the seventh coach to take the reins at Chiefs in a period of just seven years.

Honestly I'm very disappointed with this appointment by Kaizer Chiefs. Though Molefi Ntseki has an eye for talent and youth development, the founder of Harmony Academy is yet to be tested in top flight football coaching a big team. Be that as it may, I fully support him???? pic.twitter.com/xBMJWTgFjq

The move comes after weeks of talks between Kaizer Chiefs' hierarchy and Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi.
KickOff reported that the powers that be at Amakhosi held a meeting this week to put an end to efforts of training to bring Nabi on board after failing to agree on technical team terms with the double treble-winning coach.
