Speaking exclusively to KickOff, Milford captain Ngxongo admits Amakhosi that while the Milford squad has plenty of respect for the Soweto giants, history and stature will count for little on the field.

"We expected we would draw a big team, and what makes us happy is that we drew Chiefs. In my opinion, it's the biggest team.

"So that gives us a chance to learn and the opportunity to also show our own quality.

"We are a smaller team than Chiefs, I agree, but on the field it won't matter. We are going to respect them as older and bigger clubs but if go on the field, we will just play football.

Although Chiefs have won the knockout cup competition on more occasions than any other PSL team, the Glamour Boys have struggled to secure silverware in almost a decade.

But the hosts may also draw motivation from their recent run of five DStv Premiership matches without a defeat.

"I wouldn't say they (Chiefs) have been struggling. I think they have been doing well and they will come with that momentum. So it's going to be a very difficult game,"Ngxongo added.

"But It's important that we don't look down on ourselves and because we are playing against Chiefs, every player will raise their hand to say, 'I also want to show my quality'."

The match is scheduled to kick-off on Sunday at 18:00.
