Motaung: Chiefs' head coach search an ongoing process

Club chairman Kaizer Motaung says the plans to appoint a full-time coach at Kaizer Chiefs this season are ongoing and moving fast.

Amakhosi have been without a full-time boss since axing Molefi Ntseki with Cavin Johnson appointed on an interim basis.

Chiefs have been linked with Pitso Mosimane who just parted ways with United Arab Emirates side Al Wahda, and Nasrredine Nabi who was touted to take over before the start of the season.

"It's going to take a lot of work for us to get back to where we were, but it's not going to be easy," Motaung told GameON on Radio2000.

"I'm sure we will be able to navigate the way through and bring back the glory.

"Well, things have moved so fast now because of technology, and improvement and logistics and how we interact with the world and everything.

"I think we are at a stage where we are now, unlike before where we used to get information from in sources of overseas about coaches, the internet is there now, and we can get the information that can lead us to do the right things in the right way."

Chiefs suffered defeat to bitter rivals Orlando Pirates at a sold out Soweto derby at FNB Stadium on Saturday.
