Nabi in new heights quest at Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs' Betway Premiership fixture against SuperSport United on Tuesday evening will offer Nasreddine Nabi his latest opportunity to do what he hasn't done since taking over at the club.

Nabi has the task of adding another win to his collection, which reached 10 on Saturday in the 3-0 victory over Chippa United.

That win meant Chiefs have won two games in a row for the third time this season.

Beyond the three points on offer, Tuesday's game against SuperSport will dangle the carrot of handing Nabi the chance to stretch his wins to three for the first time since he took over.

On the two previous occasions that Amakhosi have won two in a row, they have then come stuck in the third.

In the meanwhile, Nabi will get on with the job having had first-hand experience of what comes with winning games for Chiefs.

"It is true that we have noticed the joy that this club brings to its millions of fans all around South Africa," says Nabi.

"It is incredible.

"It is unbelievable and that is why there is no sleep when there is not a good result because you feel responsible for millions of people around the country.

"That is why we are doing everything to build a very strong team that will give the joy consistently throughout the year in the competitions that we will play.

"We don't want to play for a result that comes today and then maybe comes again after a month or two months.

"We have the responsibility of building a very good team that will bring joy every week," says Nabi.
