Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has provided his reasons for opting to reject a recent offer that would have seen him leave the Naturena-based outfit.
After a lengthy, year-long pursuit, Chiefs' hierarchy eventually managed to secure the services of Nabi and his technical team ahead of the current season's start.

The Tunisian-Belgian is tasked with returning to the side to their former shine, with the Soweto giants having declined so badly that a 10th-place finish is all they could muster last season.
While things have not gone as smoothly as expected, Chiefs are in fifth place after 17 matches and are among the highest-scoring teams in the league.
Amakhosi very nearly lost Nabi, though, as the Tunisia national team had made an offer for the services of the 59-year-old recently.
It was subsequently rejected, and the reasons has been revealed.
"I would like to thank Dr Kaizer Motaung, Kaizer (Motaung) Jnr., Bobby Motaung and the entire management," Nabi told journalists after the win over Stellenbosch FC at Athlone Stadium last Friday.
"I have been offered an opportunity to go and coach my country and we have sat together and decided that I will pass this big opportunity to coach my mother's country.
"I feel that it is an honour to be here, I say thank you to everyone," he added.

In essence, Nabi has foregone the honour of being among the managers at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco in December, to revive the sleeping giant that is Kaizer Chiefs.
Though the league title does not seem a realistic target this season, next campaign promises to be a big one at the Village for the former Young Africans mentor.
