New Kaizer Chiefs signing Bongani Sam has thrown his support behind incoming head coach Nasreddine Nabi as the Soweto giants continue preparations for the 2024/25 season.
Sam was the first of Chiefs' four signings in the current window, being followed by Fiacre Ntwari, Rushwin Dortley, and more recently, Gaston Sirino.

He will, along with his teammates, be expected to deliver at least a top-four finish and an improvement from Amakhosi's embarrassing 10th place finish of last term.
At the helm of the project is new coach Nabi, alongside an all-new technical team.
Speaking to SuperSport TV, Sam opened up on his arrival and shared his ambitions under the Belgian-Tunisian mentor.
"I want to help the team to go back to its glory days. I want to help the club end their trophy drought. It's my promise to the supporters," pledged the left-back.
"It's not only me who wants that, I am sure the guys are also eager to do the same thing. I am just fortunate that I am part of the group that wants to take the team back to where it belongs."

"He [Nabi] came at a great time for us. We are all ready to help him and for him to help us achieve something this season.
"For us as a team, it's just to work hard, stay focused and help each other in each and everything," Sam added.
Chiefs will only kick off their competitive season when the Betway Premiership kicks off in September.
