Kaizer Chiefs have unveiled 2012 CAF Confederations Cup winner Nassredine Nabi as the club's new head coach as Amakhosi looks to end a nine-year-trophy drought.
The Soweto giants finished a disappointing 10th position on the DStv Premiership log table - the club's lowest finish in the PSL era. This shock outcome prompted the club's management to act more aggressively in their search for a new coach.

That route has led them to Tunisian-Belgian mentor Nabi, whom Chiefs had failed to come to an agreement with the season prior.
The disagreement is understood to have come from Chiefs' unwillingness to allow Nabi to bring his own technical team of specialists.
This time around, the 58-year-old will be allowed to bring his own technical team and has selected first and second assistants Khalil Ben Youssef (assistant coach), strength and condition coach Majdi Safi, performance analyst Ayman Makroud, as well as goalkeeper coach Ilyes Mzoughi.
Meanwhile, Nabi comes to Chiefs with plenty of credentials including a CAF Confederations Cup winners medal with Leopards and is a two-time domestic treble winner with Young Africans.
In preparation for the new coach, Chiefs have also made wholesale changes to the squad with the release of some of the older players.

Keagan Dolly, Itumeleng Khune, Sifiso Hlanti, Siyethemba Sithebe and Njabulo Ngcobo – all aged 30 and above - have all been allowed to pursue their careers elsewhere.
Nabi is expected to familiarise himself with more of Chiefs' players during their Turkey tour this week, with more arrivals and departures expected at the Soweto giants' camp.
"As the management team, we are resolute in our determination to rectify the situation and ensure we turn things around in the new season," a club statement from Chiefs official website read.
"We have thoroughly reviewed the season and have begun making appropriate changes as we get underway with preparations for the new season.
"Members of management and the technical team will be working tirelessly over the next few weeks to ensure that the team hits the ground running when the 2024/25 season begins at the start of August."
