With Kaizer Chiefs set to be without goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari in the Home of Legends Cup, both Brandon Petersen and Bruce Bvuma have a chance to stake a claim for the vacant post.
Chiefs are gearing up for the inaugural Home of Legends Cup on Saturday in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.
The one-day tournament will see four teams - including Mamelodi Sundowns, Chippa United, and Golden Arrows - battle it out to claim the trophy at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

Ahead of the competition, head coach Nasreddine Nabi will be without three players in Ntwari, Rushwin Dortley and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, all of whom are on international duty with Rwanda, Bafana Bafana and Botswana respectively.
Inacio Miguel and Given Msimango are expected to start in the heart of defence, as has been the case in the absence of Dortley.
However, the goalkeeping position presents a much more complex puzzle for Nabi.
The Tunisian-Belgian will have the tough ask of picking a starting goal net-minder.
The likely choice will be between Petersen, who has recently recovered from a finger injury, and Bvuma, who started in goal in the CUFA Cup penalty shootout triumph.
For both shot-stoppers, the opportunity is a rare one, with Ntwari having started and completed all of the Soweto giants' competitive matches so far this season.

Whomever of the pair gets the nod will know that this is a chance to stake a claim for a role that has come under scrutiny.
Ntwari has conceded an alarming seven league goals this season, and 11 across all competitions.
For context, the side had conceded just two goals after five league matches last term.
Needless to say, Amakhosi are in need of solutions to stop the leak at the back and a change of goalkeeping personnel may be around the corner.
