Following the success of rivals Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns in both the domestic and the continental stage, former Kaizer Chiefs striker says winning the Nedbank Cup is the only way they can console their supporters this season.
While Sundowns and Pirates have been stealing all the limelight, Amakhosi are at risk of not finishing in the top eight as they currently sit in eighth spot on the Betway Premiership table with only six matches remaining.

The Glamour Boys visit Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Sunday's Nedbank Cup semi-final scheduled for 18:00.
"To be honest we respect Sundowns, they've got quality, they've got good players, but it's time for Kaizer Chiefs to come up from somewhere by winning against them," Reed tells KickOff.
"That's the only way we can redeem ourselves; we need to go out there and make sure that we don't make the mistakes they normally do every time they are playing Sundowns.
"They need to make sure they remain focused the whole game; anywhere they play in South Africa, they dominate in terms of support.
"Chiefs players have to show respect to these poor loyal supporters; they need to do something for the club, and they need to make sure on Sunday these supporters go home happy.
