Khama Billiat's chase for a personal career milestone is up in the air with what is now likely to be a sad ending to his time at Kaizer Chiefs.
Billiat last played for Chiefs at the end of October in the Soweto derby lasting 79minutes before being replaced and hasn't returned to action since then due to injury.

What initially appeared to be a slight niggle around his groin area has now developed into an injury that has needed him to undergo surgery.
Arthur Zwane, the Chiefs coach has confirmed that the Zimbabwean forward has undergone an operation with club physiotherapist David Milner providing further details on the nature of the injury and how long Billiat will be out for.
"Currently, our injury list consists of Khama Billiat, who had surgery to repair a torn groin muscle.
"He'll be out for the rest of the season," says Milner on the club website.

This then means that Billiat will not be reaching the milestone of 100 goals playing for a South African club.
He remains the all-time top scorer (97 goals) amongst the players still playing in the PSL despite having last scored in April last year.
Though he has provided three assists he is yet to score from the 11 appearances that he has managed this season.
Worse is that his contract expires at the end of the season.
The slippery forward is in his fifth season at Chiefs and has battled for most of his time at the club and not delivered the performances that he did while at Sundowns.
