If ever there were any doubts about what Gaston Sirino can do in an attacking team, then his Kaizer Chiefs debut over the weekend provided plenty of what he can do.
The intelligence of Sirino was visible all evening as he provided penetrative passes in linking up with Ranga Chivaviro, who was playing as the top man in the 2-1 win over Marumo Gallants.

Sirino didn't just provide the assist for Mduduzi Shabalala's opener, but he was also on hand for the pass that led to the assist by Wandile Duba for Mfundo Vilakazi's winner.
Then there was the clever pass to Chivaviro with the scores at 1-1, which deserved a better finish with full laces on the floor from the former Marumo Gallants striker instead of a rising side foot.
The left end of Chiefs' trio of attackers behind Chivaviro featuring Sirino, Shabalala and Christian Saile Basomboli is where most attacks were generated with the Uruguayan's finesse coming to good effect.
Nasreddine Nabi was then left with little choice but to keep his number 10 on the field for 90 minutes.
Sirino rarely played league matches from start to finish during his time at Mamelodi Sundowns.
It was only in 20 league games that he played 90 minutes during the six-and-a-half years that he spent at Chloorkop.
The 33-year-old played 115 league matches for The Brazilians, scoring 16 goals and providing 23 assists.

At Chiefs, he has now started on a good footing with what he showed against Gallants, showing there could be plenty assists and goals to come to pump up Nabi's revival project.
Sirino has been a league champions in the seven seasons that he has played in South Africa and has another five trophies that he has won, so will have an important factor to play at Chiefs.
