Kaizer Chiefs legend and former captain Neil Tovey believes he and Miguel Gamondi can bring back the glory days in Naturena.
Gamondi arrived in South Africa as assistant to Angel Cappa but went on to win the Premier Soccer League title as joint-manager alongside Tovey.
The 57-year-old is currently in charge of Tanzanian giants Young Africans and was on the bench when they lost on penalties to Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals last Friday, following a goalless stalemate on aggregate.

Tovey believes with Gamondi as a head coach and him as his assistant, Amakhosi can reach their erstwhile heights.
"Gamondi is a good person, a good man, he knows his game," says the former Bafana Bafana captain, speaking to KickOff.
"He can adapt. As a coach, you [have] got to adapt to your team, otherwise it's gonna take another two, three seasons to get things right. For him to get the style right, he's gonna have to acquire players that can play to his style.
"I don't think he's got only one style because you [have] got to be adaptable as a coach. You can't just come with one style because if someone messes with your style, then you can't go anywhere. A coach [has] got to be adaptable and plan for different situations in different games. Playing away from home is not the same as playing at home," he explains.
Asked if the Argentinian can handle a big team like the Glamour Boys and the pressure that comes with it, Tovey said he has no doubt Gamondi is more than capable.
"Well, Sundowns are a big team and he won them the league, so definitely, he can handle the pressure."
But... and it's a big BUT...

"He will need an assistant coach who understands the club and the environment though.
"Personally I've got no problem [being his assistant]. I'd love to help Chiefs, I've always said that."
