Kaizer Chiefs' pursuit of SuperSport United defender Luke Fleurs has been motivated by a combination of factors at Naturena as Arthur Zwane continues influencing his way.
Chiefs' interest has already been confirmed by SuperSport boss Stan Matthews who has not been impressed by how AmaKhosi have made their advances for the 22-year-old.

Fleurs has been on Chiefs' wanted list since the beginning of the season, but the offer made has not met SuperSport's evaluation.
He is into his fifth season at SuperSport and has found himself falling out of favour this season with the arrival of Thulani Hlatshwayo.
What is of interest is why Chiefs are keen on Fleurs.
Veteran defender Mulomowandau Mathoho's contract expires at the end of June and on the evidence of the club chasing another central defender, it clearly signals the end of his time at Naturena.
Mathono has been with Chiefs since July 2012 and will have spent 11 years at the club by the time his contract expires.
The 32-year-old has so far only been on the field once this season when he came on as a late substitute against SuperSport United with seconds remaining.
Besides that late appearance against SuperSport and the Carling Black Label Cup his last start came eight months ago against Golden Arrows when he played until half-time before being withdrawn after his horrendous blunder handed the visitors all three points at FNB.
Since then, he has rotated between the bench and the stands.
Another reason why Chiefs are pursuing Fleurs is how leaky their defence has been this season.
Chiefs have conceded 15 goals in 13 matches which is uncharacteristic of them considering how much pride they take in keeping it tight at the club.
Amakhosi have only kept it clean at the back in only four games out of 13.
The order of options at the back has had Zitha Kwinika, Siyabonga Ngezana, Njabulo Ngcobo, and Edmilson Dove all getting minutes in central defence.
Austin Thabani Dibe has struggled to play and is set to leave.
