A teammate of Percy Tau at Al Ahly has been spotted with a very impressive Mercedes Benz CLA Coupe worth around R850 000! Here's a look.
The story
The Egyptian giants are set for a massive 2023/24 season, with a long list of fixtures added to their calendar including the upcoming CAF Super Cup, the newly-inaugurated African Football League, and the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup in December - with this being in addition to their normal domestic competitions and the CAF Champions League.
The treble success of 2022/23 is now just a recent memory but the greats rewards of playing for such a gigantic club can be simply too difficult to hide. Red Devils defender Marwan Atia, who is just 25-years-old, appears to drive the Mercedes CLA Coupe, a car worth R841 983 in South Africa, according to Mercedes Benz SA.
The car was posted not long after the player made a R17.3 million move to Al Ahly from Al Ittihad Alexandra in January after rising through the ranks at his former club. Having already won four trophies in his first nine months in Cairo, success for the Egypt international is certainly evident both on and off the pitch.
The Pharaoh was seemingly grateful for what he has achieved so far in his life and after posting a picture next the car on instagram, he said: "Rest assured that it is by the permission of Allah, not by the permission of humans."

Both draws for the Club World Cup and new African Football League have been recently confirmed. Marcel Koller's side will either face Saudi Pro League champions Al Ittihad or New Zealand giants Auckland City in their opening game of the World Cup, while a two-legged clash against Simba SC of Tanzania awaits them from the 24th of October.
