Global sports brand PUMA has now unveiled the newest Neymar-inspired boot, which will be a limited-edition release. Here's a look!
The story
With the 2024 Copa America getting underway next month in the United States, PUMA have confirmed the release of Neymar's signature boot, the FUTURE 7 NJR COPA.
The Al Hilal star will unfortunately play no part at the tournament, as he was omitted from the squad due to an injury he sustained while on international duty in back in October 2023.

A statement by provided to KickOff by PUMA reads: "The new boot features custom graphics inspired by Neymar Jr.'s origin story growing up in Brazil, who he has represented 128 times, and FOREVER BRASILEIRO lettering inscribed to show the passion he feels for his national side.
"Neymar Jr. limited-edition capsule collection includes the Neymar Jr. COPA jersey, t-shirts, shorts, bucket hat, beach ball and football all channelling the playfulness of street football in Brazil, where Neymar Jr. honed the ability – and the audacity – to put any defender on their backside.
"Nobody has personified Brazilian football over the past decade more than Neymar Jr., from making his debut as the world's most hyped teenager to becoming Brazil's top scorer in their storied history – through the highs and lows he has been their beating heart. The collection celebrates Neymar Jr.'s origin and what is still left to come.
"The FUTURE 7 has returned to pitches infused with updated FUZIONFIT360 technology, PWRPRINT and PWRTAPE innovations and the ground-breaking Dynamic Motion System Outsole, ensuring Neymar Jr., and you, stay sharp and dynamic in the face of the opposition.
"The FUZIONFIT360 upper combines a dual-mesh, stretchy knit, and PWRTAPE to lock down the foot into a snug, supportive fit – for play with or without laces. The engineered 3D textures at key contact zones are optimized to enhance ball grip and control, whilst the dual-density Dynamic Motion System outsole enhances stability, agility, and traction.
"As a step toward a better future, the upper of the FUTURE is also made with at least 20% recycled materials."
The NJR COPA Collection is set to be available for purchase on 23 May 2024.
