Orlando Pirates star Thabang Monare flexed an incredible outfit worth an astonishing R32 000, but he wore in a way that only he can.
It is widely believed that a footballer must be at his best physically, emotionally, and mentally and everyone has different ways to ensure that they're in the best shape possible. For Monare, it may be that he, like so many other people, feels good when he looks good and in his outfit comprised of Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga and Versace looked immaculate!

Monare who is now 34 years of age shows no signs of slowing down both on the pitch and off of it. When reflecting on his career, he can be very proud of his accomplishments. The midfielder won the Premiership with Bidwest Wits in 2017 and boasts two MTN8 winners' medals. With over 200 professional appearances, he may not have been a prolific goal scorer but would be a valuable member of anyone's team.
What is also valuable, it seems, is his wardrobe that shows off clothes from various brands. In his case, whether he's wearing a formal attire, semi-formal, casual or just a regular short and t-shirt, Monare always bring the drip.
The man who has been described by some as a commander in the middle of the park has as much style as he has dominance in the midfield.
His style was put on display when he posed for a photoshoot that had later been uploaded as content on his Instagram account, causing followers to stop scrolling for a minute to take in the genius behind his outfit.

Starting from the bottom, which is perhaps the feature of the outfit, Monare was wearing a pair of Louis Vuitton LV Trainer Maxi. The shoe can come in green, orange or white which is what the midfielder chose — a good choice as well.
The white could be the best colour out of them all because it doesn't take too much away from the entire attire and it goes with almost all the colours in any outfit. Essentially, it goes under the radar a bit because with all the plain white sneakers parading the earth, you would have to look twice to realise that it is from the LV brand. Sometimes sneakers can be so out there, in your face, but the white Maxi is special in an under-the-radar type of way.
The shoe was also a feature at Louis Vuitton's Spring-Summer 2023 men's show! For such a highly-acclaimed shoe and its price represents that. According to Vestiaire Collective, the shoe costs $2 383 (R43 810).
His shirt would have stood out to you immediately if you were a fan of Balenciaga. The oversized button-up reads: Property of Balenciaga design team Paris, giving the wearer a feel that they're carrying a peace of the City of Love with them wherever they go. For this feeling, which one would imagine to be sensational, you would have to fork out $155 (R2 849), according to NY Summer.
The other stand out feature of his outfit were his luxury glasses, a pair of Versace 4438s, which would probably be the first thing to catch your eyes if you were spot the Pirates star in the street.
With its unique design that seems to draw inspiration from earlier periods of fashion trends has a circular frame with gold on the sides of the glasses as to represent its unique ability to be both flashy and classy simultaneously. For its uniqueness, it would cost around R4 900 according to SmartBuyGlasses.
As hard as it would be to replicate Monare's ability on the field, trying to match his drip would also take quite some doing.
