'Those players must have their salaries cut by 50% until...' - Chiefs fan

With Kaizer Chiefs manager Nasreddine Nabi calling for his players to be supported after the side's most recent defeat, fans have issued their frank responses.

The Soweto giants suffered a 2-0 defeat to Polokwane City in a Premiership match on Sunday, and some supporters were not at all pleased by the result.

Speaking after the game, Nabi stated that he has confidence in his players, as well as the future of the club, and called for players to receive support – especially the younger ones.

Check out what the fans had to say:

"We heard enough of your excuses coach. We are now losing our patience. Please don't dare test our level of patience. We cannot afford to act normal in an abnormal situation," says Mncwango Maseko Madoda.

"What morale? These players don't know what morale is," says Lifa El Patron Mageba.

"Those players must have their salaries cut by 50% until they start being serious," says Sthembiso Wase-California Sterror.

"This Nabi coach is focusing on the wrong things, criticizing our brand of football and standard. Forgetting that he comes from a small league in Tanzania. PSL will humble him and he will soon start speaking English," says Kebalepile Khula.

"Ancestors of Chiefs have since turned their back because they don't understand the language at the Chiefs camp. A few Sotho speaking players can turn fortunes around given they get regular game time," says Calvin Fako.

"Enough with the cooking, Nabi must go. He must go with his favourite three musketeers: Shabalala, Vilakazi and Duba... These clowns must be loaned to Baroka to gain experience," suggests Matheke Leteane.

"Until the Motaungs sign players to support the coach, there's nothing he can do. Chiefs is very thin in terms of depth that's why it is predictable," says Mpetjeng Makua.

"It's too early to expect miracles. Let's give our boys and the technical team time. Guys your expectations are too high," says Thabiso Matsoai.

"An experienced South African coach should be roped into the technical team. Someone who understands the players, and the terrain," says Sipho Nkosi.

"Chiefs players are not serious at all. If management don't make a plan, Chiefs will relegated," says Phoka Tlokwe.

"We cannot blame the coach, these players are not serious," says Sbusiso Dludla.

"It's great to see Nabi prioritizing his players' morale and well-being, a true mark of a great coach," says Sandile Cele Snr.

"I love this coach. He gives support to these players, but they fail this man. Soon many of them will be with without a job," says Jabu Jones Famon.
