What's the story?

Kaizer Chiefs and Kappa launched the club's new home and away strips which signals the two brands reuniting for the first time in 18 years.

The club explained the intention behind the beguiling green and gold, which has been compared to the kits of South Africa's national rugby team, the Springboks.

"Inspired by the natural beauty of South Africa, the green represents the lush landscapes of the nation, while the gold trim symbolises victory and the accomplishment of the Club over the past 53 years.

"This visually stunning away jersey is a testament to Kaizer Chiefs' determination to dominate both on and off the field," explained the Soweto giants.
