Nasreddine Nabi's links to Kaizer Chiefs is the reason why Marumo Gallants' wanted man Ranga Chivaviro is bargaining on landing at Naturena.

The 57-year-old Tunisian coach has been in talks with Amakhosi for several weeks and is still adamant on brining his own technical staff to Amakhosi, with the SA-based Ivorian agent Herve Tra Bi facilitating the deal between Nabi and the Soweto giants.

Tra Bi also represents Ranga Chivaviro and knows that once Nabi's deal at Chiefs is complete, Chivaviro could follow the Yanga boss to Naturena with Chiefs needing a new number nine.

Chivaviro's pre-contract agreement with Richards Bay FC could add complications to a potential deal with Chiefs, who could be set to part ways with Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "How Nabi is linked to Chivaviro at Chiefs" story:

"The Football business has evolved recently. Coaches usually bring their own staff. But I remember when Mazinyo [Ernst Middendorp] came with his own staff, in his first stint with Chiefs. It backfired when players were not happy, purely because Mazinyo and his men were not willing to understand their new environment.

"But at the same time, asking Nabi to work with Zwane is plain ignorance. Zwane was used by Kaizer Jr to push Baxter out. Now he will be even more bitter and definitely will work against Nabi. They should just ask him to take any South African, of his choice, to be a second assistant," says siyaz.

"Why Zwane is being protected like this? he failed dismally. Maybe, he's part of the family? A son of Chincha Guluva [Dr Kaizer Motaung] from another mother? or A son-in-law? something is beating the water here," lwazihnzimande.

"Chiefs must just let Nabi bring all his personnel and let's see. Time is running out... it's high time that all the local clubs acclimatise with the changes. Coaches must choose their own Tech team," says Mokaubere.

"These ones are as slow as tortoises. Sundowns must consider signing this guy as our mascot. He looks like he can be an excellent mascot," says Sva2022.

"If they could fire Hunt and Baxter, why would it be difficult for Chiefs to fire the amateur Zwane?" asks Legend CRM083.

"Exactly my brother. We all thought Kaizer Jnr. would be better in decision making but eish, so far, he is not convincing," says responds The godfather to the comment above.

"This Nabi is going to be problematic; he wants to take power away from Bobs. NO, we can't have that," says Arthur is an Ankole.

"I'm starting to doubt whether Chiefs and Nabi will eventually come to an agreement," says xemandla.

"Nabi or no Nabi they shall ALL bow in front of Sundowns," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Humphrey Mlwane believes it would be suicidal for the club to force Arthur Zwane and Nasreddine Nabi to work together as part of a new-look technical team.

Chiefs are in negotiations and exploring options to overhaul their first team technical staff, with one of the options being Arthur Zwane working under Nasreddine Nabi as an assistant.

As mentioned, the Yanga head coach is adamant on bringing his own technical team, casting doubt over Zwane's future at the club.

Mlwane feels that Chiefs' plan to have Zwane working under Nabi would be disastrous and will bring conflict.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Mlwane: 'Nabi, Arthur combination won't work'" story:

"It won't work because Arthur Zwane would think that he is better than Nabi and cause all sorts of confusion to sabotage the head coach.

"If it is possible, send him out for training and loan him out," says peter95157.

"If Chiefs don't want to lose Zwane, they must loan him to Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools programme (PMSS) for a good life sentence," says lwazihnzimande.

"Spot on legend!! Arthur must go test himself elsewhere," says Sk wa Le khosi.
