Goalkeeping legend Brian Baloyi has been spotted rolling around in a number of different cars over the last few months, with the reason for this having since been revealed. Here's a look at the rides he had at his disposal.
The story
Affectionately known as "Spiderman", the retired baller seems to have had his hands full in recent months. In a joint venture with former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande, Baloyi now runs a funeral service business that operates even beyond South African borders to countries Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Malawi, Botswana, and Zambia - to name a few.
However, the former Bafana Bafana star has also been busy test driving some of Mahindra's best cars thanks to his collaboration with the automaker's dealership in Midrand.
Upon driving the BAIC Beijing X55, which is worth an upwards of R429 900, Baloyi said on Instagram: "Wrapped up the November weekends this past weekend driving one of the most beautiful cars on the market right now, the BAIC Beijing. What a car…what an experience. This is the current South African Car of the year winner 2023, and you can see and feel why the minute you sit on the drivers seat.
"First thing you notice once inside is the space inside, looking from outside it's deceiving and maybe because of the Sporty/Coupe like roofline. Then everywhere you stop you get the looks and very nice comments about the Car. Enjoyed having this baby with my family.

An avid golf player, Baloyi appreciates a vehicle that allows him to travel with his golf bags and carts. Having rolled around in a Mahindra Scorpio-N, the 49-year-old said that this articular car model is value for money.
"Another weekend of golf and great company and I had so much fun with my family as well and we were driving in this fancy Mahindra Scorpio-N, and damn I enjoyed ride. The drive to Sun City was an absolute pleasure, I'm loving how South Africans are purchasing cars with a different mindset to what it used to be like 10 years or so ago. It's not about the German brands anymore but value for money."
The seven-seater vehicle features a sun roof, several cameras, leather seats, and climate control.
Some of the other rides who was spotted with recents are the Cherry Tiggo 7 Pro and the Mahindra XUV300 - see the images below!
