Klopp reveals what he enjoys about coming to Cape Town

German manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed what he enjoys the most about visiting Cape Town. Here's a look!

The story

Hundreds of passionate Liverpool supporters came out to see Klopp at the 10-year anniversary of the Hout Bay United Football Community (HBUFC) on Thursday night.

The event offered a rare opportunity for South Africans to be in the presence of Klopp and ask him some interesting questions about his storied career.

It's not the first time that the 57-year-old has visited HBUFC, as he has previously made a few appearances at their home and donated some much-needed funds.

Klopp was asked about the purpose of his visit and what he enjoys most about coming down to Cape Town.

The ex-Reds boss said: "Helping United FC in the last years... I tried to help as much as I could.

"Today I was there and I just said to the guys, 'I'll sit there in the back'.

"But it's really important that we can get these kinds of events, and if I can help, I do that.

"I went to the training for the youth teams. I saw wonderful football, wonderful kids. I saw 17, 16, probably 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18-year-old boys and girls playing football.

"The coach of the group visited me in the past in Liverpool and it was just nice. He fits the energy."

He added that he also enjoys the fact that some people don't always recognise him, like in other parts of the world.

"Coming here fits with my energy because it's really, it's not every day at a youth club that is a great day.

"Actually, I'm okay with myself, but I would love to go out and just have nobody recognise me. You don't know how cool that is, to get p*ssed somewhere and nobody gives a sh*t."
