'Pitso must come back home, we need him'

With South African coach Pitso Mosimane receiving high praise from one of his stars at Abha Club, fans have reacted to it and offered their thoughts on the topic.

What's the story?

Leaders of the South captain Saad Bguir sat down for an interview with Al-Riyadiah, and praised the former Mamelodi Sundowns coach.

What he said:

"A good coach who came at a sensitive time and a difficult period," Bguir said.

"He gave everything he had and we won many matches with him, and I wish him success in the remaining rounds."

Here's what the KickOff readers had to say:

"Tried and tested. He proved himself and has nothing left to prove to anyone. He's a great coach,' says Levildinho Farai Wayah.

"Give Pitso Mosimane Manchester United; thank me later. He fits everywhere in the world, and any club in the world,' says Kagiso Masehla.

"Best Coach in Africa continent,' says Thembinkosi Mgcina Siroro.

"He's the best. Pitso save Abha," says Mbongeni Mbuli.

"When they have avoided relegation they chase him, till towards the end of the following season when one of the teams need to be saved again, they will call him again,' says Mthokozisi Nkosi.

"Great coach for other team not; Kaizer Chiefs," says Thulani Sifundza.

"This man is a real coach. He gets a club while it's down and builds it up. He changes the mindset of every player into a positive direction," says Sedima Motswetla.

"He must come back home, we need him as Khosination," says Matia Abram Mogano.

"It's true he is good while oversees. Let him come coach chiefs, I want to see something," says Ratile Matheh.

Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns have been handed the opportunity to lift the DStv Premiership trophy in front of their home fans on 25 May, following their encounter with Cape Town City.

Here's how readers reacted:

"It's time for Rulani Mokwena to get that +71 points made by Pitso and complete history by completing 1000 passes. Sundowns should set the record straight to Soweto teams," says Louis Nama.

"I wish they can finish the league unbeaten. Now that's a record that's going to be hard to break," says Bongani Ntimba.

"PSL was doing it on purpose," says Nkonka Zwee Sithole.

"Next season they're winning it again," says Nkosinathi Nkunyane.

"Free tickets for 57 home fans, otherwise they will celebrate their trophy in an empty stadium," says Sir-Mackson N Makwaeba.

Tshepo Clarence replied: "The last time Orlando Pirates lifted the league you were still in school, 12 years ago and yet you worried about how many people will watch Sundowns."

"Good, respect to the serial champions," says Mhlekazi S'ginyumkhonto Gujumbura.

"I wish they finish the league without a loss and reach 71 points," says Mhlekazi S'ginyumkhonto Gujumbura.

"Let's face reality, pirates, chiefs and sundowns are going to buy players from stellies this coming window period," says Makhisi Zizwe Dube.
