"For the spirit of the game it's good to have a few surprises now and then, can't always be the same teams winning it becomes monotonous," says Thabang Nong.
"When they drew Magesi FC they celebrated, forgetting that football always teaches us a lesson," writes Sipho Tom.
"I'm happy we are out. But I was angry for the score at first half. Pirates must watch out for small teams. At least we can focus on big competitions not this disturbing cup," says Ntokozo Mhlongo.
"Good refereeing today, the match officials need to be applauded tor not succumbing to any pressure from players, benches and supporters," says Skhokho Groovein.
"We're not letting that wound heal," says Oarabile Tau Tlhale.
"Some fringe players were given a chance and failed us big time, congratulations in advance to Stellenbosch for retaining their cup now that Pirates is out," says Samuel Ketsise.
"Orlando pirates players are tired of lifting Cups we are resting for the Betway Premiership, CAF Champions League, Nedbank cup and CAF super cup," writes Karim Mali.
"Some are denialists. Pirates have been having flaws. Couple of games they bearly survived. The midfield was weak. Needed someone like Timm to stabilize. The defence was at sixes and sevens. Msibi has been off form for a long time. Where is Mako? Where is Mthethwa? It's disturbing to see a teenager showing more hunger and football intelligence than older players," says Sekanse Ntsala.
"When you beat Pirates its an achievement. You frame the results on the wall. That's a giant of a team that one," writes Diezel Modise.
"As a Pirates supporter i say we are not fighting or denying that we lost to Magesi. We have accepted the defeat. Please give us a break," says Hlayisani Baloyi.
