Free agent Mpisane back on his music grind?

With Royal AM officially expelled by the PSL, chairman and footballer Andile Mpisane now appears to be reviving his music career. Here's a look!

The story

The fall of Royal AM has been well publicised, with the club now having lost its status as a South African top-flight team following its expulsion last week.

Thwihli Thwahla produced a number of memorable moments during their brief existence, with owner Shauwn Mkhize and chairman Mpisane often grabbing the headlines.

While Mpisane’s unique dual role as chairman and player at Royal AM attracted plenty of attention, his fame has never been limited to football alone.

Before taking up a more prominent role in the sport, Mpisane had made a name for himself in the music industry with singles such as "Makhwapheni" and "It's Too Much Sauce", just to name a few.

Now, with his football career taking a significant hit following the Royal AM saga, the midfielder seems to have turned his attention back to music.

On Wednesday, the 24-year-old posted a video on Instagram in which he can be seen dancing to an unreleased track, later revealing that he features on the song.

Nevertheless, Mpisane’s time in the limelight appears far from over, following an encouraging season on the pitch in which he made a combined 10 appearances in the Betway Premiership and Carling Knockout Cup.
