The Saudi Pro League recently went on a shopping spree, spending big money on players and it has now been revealed that the league has wasted millions.
In a transfer window that saw big players switch clubs and huge amounts of money being spent around the footballing world and specifically in Saudi, Ticketgum found that the Arab country spent much more than they actually needed to.

It was revealed that Brazilian Neymar tops the list of overvalued players. The Superstar forward was signed from PSG by Al Hilal a reported fee of £83 million (R1.9 billion) despite him having a market value of £51 million (R1.1 billion), suggesting that he was overvalued by a staggering £34 million (R797 million).
Behind Neymar in second place is former Zenit St Petersburg star Malcom who was also signed by Al Hilal. He cost the Riyadh-based club a reported fee of £51 million (R1.1 billion) while his market value is believed to be £25 million (R586 million), meaning the side paid £26 million (R610 million) more than they needed to.
In third place is Al Ittihad's signing of Jota for Celtic in a move that cost the Pro League club a reported fee of £25 million (R586 million) when he was valued at £11 million (258 million), suggesting that the club paid £13 million (R305 million) more than they should have.
