Kaizer Chiefs starlet Nkosana Mbuthu's way of presenting himself off the field gives him a certain coolness and a composed aura.
The 18-year-old son of former Amakhosi midfielder Patrick 'Ace' Mbuthu featured for the Soweto side in their 4-0 thumping at the hands of Tanzanian giants Young Africans SC.

Much of the post-match discussions have been centred around the budding left-back but by the looks of it, the defender seems to be well accustomed to attracting the eyes of passers-by.
This is because the teenager seems to have the ability to come off as someone who could not be intimidated by the the thoughts and words that may be directed at him, simply by the way he chooses to present himself to the world.
An article by Psychology Today claims that "we make numerous assumptions about strangers merely based on their physical appearances or the emotions they express."
As such, what Mbuthu chooses to don suggests much about his off-field composure. He can often be seen looking cool and confident in the clothes he wears.

Chiefs fans will be hoping that Mbuthu can grow into a composed, and an influential, figure on the field as he ventures through the daunting world of professional football.

The Soweto Giants suffered a 4-0 defeat to Yanga SC in a pre-season encounter, with Mbuthu making a costly error.
Some asked why the player had not been brought off the field at any point in the game, and new Chiefs boss Nasreddine Nabi explained that he wanted to protect the youngster.
"I'm assisting him [Mbuthu]. I don't push him out because I want to give him confidence, I'm happy for his performance," the manager told SuperSport TV.
"If I take him out, I kill him directly. My responsibility is to protect him, to progress and to improve in the future."
