After parting ways with Chiefs to reunited with Gavin Hunt at SuperSport United, midfielder Phathtshedzo Nange reflected on the disappointment of not winning silverware at Chiefs.

Nange admitted that he's part of the blame for the lack of Chiefs during his time there, but still appreciates the opportunity he received at Naturena.

The Bafana international reveals he was happy at the Glamour Boys despite injuries hampering his final season at the club. He now looks forward to an exciting new journey at Matsatsantsa.

"I like how this boy carries himself, he is one of those guys who are so focused on the job at hand. Good luck Nange, all the best mfana," says Danito 4 Life.

"That's leadership right there. First thing about any leader is to be hard on yourself to improve yourself. Take the blame and not shift it," says KhosiWarrior.

Sticking with Amakhosi, they're facing quite the quandary regarding Burundian striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana, who's been linked with an exit after struggling in the second half of last season.

Despite finishing the 2022/23 season at Chiefs' top scorer in the league, Bimenyimana fell out of favour with Arthur Zwane towards the latter stages of the campaign.

It's no secret that Bimenyimana wasn't Zwane's ideal choice as a centre forward, with his playing style being raised as an issue.

Chiefs have been unsuccessful in their efforts to offload the Burundian striker, with his Canadian-based camp turning down a contract settlement.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Chiefs' conundrum over striker Bimenyimana" story:

"Maybe this season he will do much better. He is worth giving another chance. He is not a star player but packs a powerful shot and he is not selfish at all.

"The only problem with him is his fitness levels. Injury prone and can barely last 90 minutes. If he can fix this aspect of his game, I'm sure he can get into double figures goalwise," says gsithole.

"I don't consider Wandile Duba right now, he has a lot to learn, so we need serious strikers to compete," says Danito 4 Life.

"Wandile [Duba] needs to go back to development or be loaned out," adds Danito 4 Life.

"This guy wants to milk money. He is the same as Saile," says sbusisogumede16.

"These types of players can only be found grazing at Chiefs," says makhause(2).

"I'd keep him, he's definitely better then Saile," says boilerotholi.

"Chiefs shall forever be confused by what they're doing. They are doing what they did last season when they were saying they know what they were doing.

"A player who is their top goal scorer, they want to release and replace him by what hasn't been tried and tested. Dismantling and trying to assemble with new players is happening again. Another trophy-less season is looming because of these shenanigans," says matemane.

"Editor why don't you mention that 80% of Beer ne nyama's goals were from the penalty spot? We know was hired after he publicly condemned Chiefs' unprofessionalism, the same way Nabi's son did," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.

"He is the first player in the world to score a hat trick of penalties," says Saavedra.

"Let him go," says sebehlatshwayo1.
