Black Leopards legend Tshilidzi "Shakes" Nange, the father of ex-Chiefs midfielder Phathutshedzo, is relieved that his son is reunited with Gavin Hunt at SuperSport United.
Nange was recently let go by the Soweto giants after an underwhelming stint and has reunited with Gavin Hunt at Matsatsantsa on a two-year deal.
Shakes admitted that he was disappointed by his son's stay at Chiefs and the lack of game he received but is confident he'll get chances under Hunt, who worked with him at the now defunct Bidvest Wits.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Nange Senior: He was not going to play at Chiefs" story:
"All the best to Nange!! I also believe that he is a good player but we do not know why all these players fail so clearly at Chiefs. I think it boils down to what Rhoo Radebe said, Chiefs needs a coach who can improve the individual player quality.
"I said the same thing many times before, it does not make any sense that all these players are so poor that they cannot cross the ball well, cannot shoot with any accuracy that tells you they are professional players, etc.
"These are basics in football!! Why are they poor? All of them for so long?! It must be poor training approach," says khothakhosi.
"All the best Nange, you will score against Chiefs and they will realise that you are a good player," says peter95157.
"Ja, Football will kill you, a certain death. Sometimes it's not about the player's ability, it maybe a fit or 'compatibility', favoritism or the coach just doesn't like you," says mthunzijack7 who adds:
"This Nange boy probably could have done better at the Sea Robbers, what do you think? maybe it was a question of the wrong choice."
Read: BREAKING: Sundowns announce new signing
Mamelodi Sundonws announced the signing of winger Lesiba Nku from Marumo Gallants.
The 27-year-old has made a steady rise to stardom after moving to Gallants from Polokwane City and enjoyed a decent 2022/23 season, which saw him play a big role in Gallants' CAF Confederations Cup run.
Nku is Sundowns' first signing in what's expected to be a busy transfer window for the DStv Premiership champions.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "BREAKING: Sundowns announce new signing" story:
"Sundowns won't win anything this season and they will be rotation in coaches. I think Steve Komphela will take or over or Manqoba Mngqithi back on his chair. Save this comment admin," says Khthukuthula80.
"Nku has potential to be great. It will depend on how he takes it. Problem is when these players arrive at the club, like Kapinga, they tend to lose self confidence and fall down the packing order. Wish he can reach his potential. Good luck boy!" says Abuti.
"I agree with you. Sundowns need more than talents like Morena, Maema, Mailula, Mudau etc." says His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.
"The boy is very dangerous. He is going to be a star," says Saavedra.
"Fly by night le, still more bittersweet and bitter seasons to come," says ayanda.mbalu2015.
"He is just an ordinary player but at Sundowns, I'm scared they will turn him into a monster, they're capable," says Rio Da Khosi.
