Kaizer Chiefs recently announced the signing of 29-year-old attacker Tebogo Potsane from Royal AM on a three-year deal.

Potsane becomes Amakhosi's seventh signing of the window, as they look to strengthen their squad further for new head coach Molefi Ntseki ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "CONFRIMED | Chiefs secure seventh signing" story:

"Wow congratulations to Chiefs on this one, they did good. Two years back, I was wishing for this boy to be at one of so-called big teams," says Tekenya wale Downs.

"He was always giving Chiefs defenders sleepless nights now they want to destroy his career," says peter95157.

"Most of these signings are free-agents. After a few weeks into the new season, their true colors will be on display," says makhause(2).

"So why are you interested? Wasn't George Maluleka a free agent from Kaizer Chiefs to Sundowns? Could you please take a back seat," says SK wa Le Khosi.

"Not a bad player though, we shall see Chiefs. Remember you were building last season, this season you will be rebuilding," says Fela.

"Another hot property this one, well done management and coach, welcome to the real thing in RSA football Tebogo Potsane, THE MIGHTY KAIZER CHIEFS, you are now a glamour boy, KHOSI 4 LIFE!!" says user827808.

"We mean business this season. The last time we bought quality players was when Baxter took the reigns, and the rest is history. Now it looks like we are doing the same, watch this space," says ayanda.mbalu2015.

"The boy is good, lets hope he will perform at Chiefs," says insansa.legal.

Read: Richards Bay to file PSL complaint on Chivaviro matter

Richards Bay FC are intent on filing a complaint with the PSL regarding striker Ranga Chivaviro being signed by Kaizer Chiefs after allegedly signing a pre-contract agreement with KwaZulu Natal-based outfit.

Richards Bay are said to have approached the PSL's Dispute Resolution Committee after Chivaviro was unveiled as a Chiefs player last week, signed on a three-year deal.

The 30-year-old reportedly penned a two-year deal with the Natal Rich Boyz in January, with a KickOff source revealing that Richards Bay have the evidence to prove that Chivaviro signed with them before agreeing a move with Chiefs.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Richards Bay to file PSL complaint on Chivaviro matter" story:

"Rich Boyz will win this case and points will be deducted. Chiefs will be relegated to the second division," says mzizimike25.

"It was the responsibility of Richards Bay to ensure that what they sign is valid. They should have requested the contract Ranga has signed with Marumo Gallants," matemane.

"FIFA must scrap the option for clubs to unilaterally renew/extend players' contracts. Richards Bay vs Marumo vs Chiefs on Chivariro is a clear example what all three teams are right," says Madiya-Ngalonde.

"If Richard's Bay signed a pre-contract with Ranga on a contract option by Marumo Gallants, they must throw in the towel because a pre-contract wasn't supposed to go through on Ranga's contract which had an option.

"Why did Richard's Bay not verify the expiry of Ranga contract at Marumo Gallants?" asks matemane.

"Waste of a complaint this. If he had a year option, all his club needed to do was trigger it and it looks like they did to avoid losing him for free. So that Richards Bay contract becomes null and void.

"Why waste resources and not just move on?" asks mphahleni.

"Chiefs and controversies, when will this end? Khune said something is cooking at Naturena... Chivaviro's RB pre-contract, Mmodi's double betrayal and Bobby Motaung' Mbombela fraud," says makhause(2).

"So Chiefs is really going to fight for a 30-year-old man? What a joke," says Eduardo Dos Santos.

"When Pirates foresee a problem coming in terms of signing players, they pull out. They've pulled out of trying to sign him [Chivaviro]. They don't want to be banned by FIFA or points be deducted at the end of league season," says mzizimike25.

"Lutho. Pirates tried signing Ranga, even after RB controversy had started. He showed them the middle finger. There's no case here," responds siyaz to mzizimike25's comment.

"They like stealing players these ones," says Dominate-downs.

"They are not called Kaizer Thieves for nothing," responds Eduardo Dos Santos to Dominate-downs' comments.
