Amakhosi new signing Pule Mmodi has been backed to make a huge impact at the Soweto giants by club legend Fetsi "Chippa" Molatedi.
The ex-Golden Arrows ace was unveiled as one of Chiefs' six new signings last month after reportedly turning down Orlando Pirates.
Molatedi believes the 29-year-old has the right abilities to fit in at Chiefs and that he will be able to rise to the occasion.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Chiefs' new signing receives praise from club legend" story:
"Can the season start already. I wanna see if Ntseki washes cups or not," says Legend CRM083.
"Welcome Boy... make us proud please," says lesibakkn9.
"If you are surrounded by a bunch of cows, you automatically becomes a cow. Ask Billiat," says Saavedra.
"I feel Kaizer Chiefs has got a good squad, the problem was favouritism by the coach, let's hope Mr. Ntseki will do the right thing," says khosilannete0.
"What favouritism are you talking about because Mmodi was playing for Golden Arrows last season? Out of all the words that you know, you thought about favouritism?" asks sizwe.
"We have seen this movie before. Where is Sekgota and that Du Preez, who run like headless chickens?" says His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.
Read: Chikoya slams Dzvukamanja's decision
Former Buccaneer Innocent Chikoya has slammed Terrence Dzvukamanja for being "unprofessional" in the way in which he handled his move to SuperSport United.
Pirates claimed that Dzvukamanja approached the club, pleading to be released to play in Zimbabwe to be close to home in order to address pressing family matters, revealing their shock over SuperSport's approach for the player.
Chikoya feels that the Zimbabwean striker didn't do the right thing and meant to be honest with the club about his intentions of leaving.
He also thinks Dzvukamanja's lack of game time in the earlier stages of last season may have had something to do with him signing a pre-contract with SuperSport.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Chikoya slams Dzvukamanja's decision" story:
"He was not appreciated by Pirates supporters. I don't blame him," says jeffreymodipane.
"He really should have been honest with his employers indeed. It was his right to sign the pre contract with SSU. Now he will be seen as this this dishonest employee which might ruin his future opportunities.
"On the flip side, the clubs leave players with no choice by this thing of letting contracts run till the last few months. Players need to know their future before it's too late. Once u become a free agent, it strips them the power of negotiating good contracts. It's both parties at times," says Minwana Phezulu.
"I think the boy needed peace of mind since he mentioned in the past he received life threats from Bucs supporters," says @Normz.
"SuperSport offered the boy a good salary," says Tekenya wale downs.
