Former Kaizer Chiefs star Lehlohonolo Majoro, who has been without a club since July 2023, has made a big announcement. Here's a look.
The story
It has been 18 months since Majoro parted ways with AmaZulu, and the striker remains a free agent.
In May 2024, the player refuted suggestions that he had retired, while in August, he declared that his day-to-day life involves being a dad and taking his children to school while awaiting the next chapter of his life.

That next chapter, however, is edging closer, as Majoro has confirmed a new path he is venturing into.
On Wednesday, the centre-forward announced that he will be launching the Major Elite Soccer Strikers Academy, a football academy for aspiring centre-forwards.
Known simply as MESSA, the academy's website remains under construction, with more details expected to be revealed in due course.
"Major Elite Soccer Strikers Academy is a professional training programme dedicated to helping aspiring football strikers develop their skills and reach their full potential," an early statement on the website confirms.
"Our programme will offer personalised coaching, specialised training drills, and mentorship from an experienced football coach and former professional player himself, Mr Lehlohonolo Majoro, who also holds a SAFA CAF C coaching licence."
The likes of Keagan Buchanan, Brighton Mhlongo, and Itumeleng Khune's wife Sphelele Makhunga have already congratulated Majoro on his new venture.
