Lerato Chabangu

The former skilful winger appeared in a recent episode of 'I Blew It', where he detailed how his reckless lifestyle and excessive spending led him losing all the fortune he accrued during his memorable football career. Nicknamed 'All You Need Is Love', the former Mamelodi Sundowns star revealed that he would spend around R30 000 per day on alcohol and partying, which would sadly end in his financial demise. Chabangu appeared to be a shadow of his once-famed self.

According to Zimbabwean outlet iHarare, The ex-Orlando Pirates star was swindled of all his fortune by his ex-wife, a woman named Thandekile Grace Maseko. The publication claims that Ndoro agreed to transfer all his assets to Maseko but when things fell apart between the pair, the player was left with nothing, as his former spouse took control of everything. The now 38-year-old has since absolved his former wife of any blame, stating that it was rather a "spiritual attack" that led him to losing his wealth. "I was spiritually attacked, no one knew what was happening to me except for myself. It was not anything to do with Thando. It was not a marital thing or a financial thing but a spiritual attack that affected me. I felt like I was not me, I felt I was not the same. I noticed it was an attack, my situation was not about money or divorce but I was attacked spiritually," Ndoro told  Sports Gist.

In 2014, the Ajax Cape Town icon made a public plea for help to find a new club, as he was sadly struggling to pay bills after his finances dried up. The once lethal striker told Sunday World: "I have had nothing so far, and I need to take care of my responsibilities as a man. At the moment, my wife is taking care of things, but I don't want to relax. I'm training with the guys in the township so that I can keep fit and prepare myself for any call-up. At least, unlike other people whose cars were repossessed, I sold mine."

Fanteni would go on to further state that he was no longer staying with his kids at the time due to his finances.
