However, on Friday morning, Mosimane had another honourable occasion to attend alongside some of the team officials in the city of Arak.
The South African coach honoured Mother's Day and Women's Day during an important ceremony held in the presence of Arak city officials and members of Aluminium Club.
"Members of the Esteghlal and Aluminium Arak coaching staff planted trees near the hotel where the Esteghlal team was staying as a tribute to the hard work and responsibility of mothers and women of Iran," read a statement on Esteghlal's Instagram account.
"Pitso Mosimane, Iman Alami, and Mohammad Navazi, representing the Esteghlal team in Arak, each planted a sapling. Additionally, during the event, Mosimane presented commemorative plaques to two mothers of martyrs of the Iran-Iraq War and the wife of a martyr from the Plasco building incident, honouring their esteemed status on behalf of the families of the martyrs.
"The mothers of these revered martyrs also expressed their gratitude to Mosimane and wished him success during his time in Iran."
It is becoming increasingly apparent that Mosimane's relationship with his club is gradually strengthening, as he recently admitted that he was open to staying at the club after being informed of a potential renewal by the Esteghlal president.
For the time being, he has confirmed that there is no formal offer on the table, but he is happy with life in Iran.
