Legendary South African football figure Jomo Sono has added his voice to the Arthur Zwane debate, with Mangethe's future at Kaizer Chiefs looking uncertain.

Sono stated that the jump from coaching in Chiefs' academy to their first team may have been too big for the inexperienced Zwane, admitting that "10111" looked promising in the club's youth structures.

Amakhosi are understood to be making enquiries on a possible coaching change after a disappointing 2022/23 season for the club, finishing trophy-less and in fifth place in the DStv Premiership.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Jomo Sono on Zwane's uncertain Chiefs future" story:

"'Promising' by Jomo Sono will lead you to the ABC Motsepe League," says maakewitness089.

"Jomo Sono the legend is SPOT ON. Please go and talk to Kaizer Motaung and tell him the TRUTH as it is. You said it all as it happened from development to the senior team," says peter95157.

"Let Zwane see off the remainder of his contract please, he will help Chiefs set another La Decima record but in reverse i.e. 10 years trophy drought," says Eau De Parfum.

"He did bad by Chiefs' standards," says mthiza.tm.

"Who can argue with the legend? He has seen it all and besides this is his product, this Arthur Zwane, but I say he needs another chance, he didn't do too badly," says mthunzijack7.

Maritzburg United midfielder Karim Kimvuidi is due to leave the club after an impressive debut season, despite the Team of Choice's relegation.

The Congolese baller made a solid 34 appearances for Maritzburg since joining last year which has won him some admirers, namely Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.

Kimvuidi also has admirers in Europe, with a move likely to enhance his chances of playing in the national team.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Kimvuidi's set for HUGE move following Maritzburg departure" story:

"I'd join SSU if I were him, and also, if SSU does enquire about him. The other clubs, I feel he will suffer as the pressure will engulf him. At least one more season in the small clubs, before I can say he is ready for the Big Time," says Danito 4 Life.

"Zebbies [Chiefs] can't afford him they are broke those free agents lovers," Eduardo Dos Santos.

"I don't think he should join Pirates, period. He will not play, plus, he is not likely to get enough opportunities to showcase his worth with so many expectations on good showings in the Champions League. Go to our neighbours boy. We need experience, quality and muscles this season," says xemandla.

"He is good," says phaks87.

"Every Tom and Jerry is being associated with the Buccaneers nowadays," says siphiwotyalana33.

"The owners of Maritzburg United must put a price tag on the player, I want to see something," says ngwanemoshate.70.
