The result put an end to a run that saw the side record four consecutive draws and one defeat amid the off-field issues the club has been forced to endure.

"We did it! Last night, the boys @RoyalAM_FC secured a hard-fought 1st, three points against Sekhukhune United!" the entrepreneur wrote in an Instagram post.

"Through every challenge, these young athletes have shown unwavering spirit and talent.

"Their charisma on the field is inspiring, reminding me that greatness takes time and tenacity. Your dedication has made it all possible.

"The lesson: NEVER GIVE UP! Let's keep pushing and fighting together! Divided We Fall, United We Stand."

Last week, the owner took her players on a team-building trip that saw the players trade in their familiar footballs boots for a pair of skates as the braced the ice to focus on "balance, stability teamwork."
